In this experimental short film a young girl is seen roaming around her house reading birthday cards, bathing, doing her hair, nails and makeup. Meanwhile a friend tells us all about her. As the story unfolds we realise all is not as it seems.
Sad and poignant Not Here Now successfully borrows techniques from art installations and documentaries to gently push at the boundaries of traditional filmmaking.
It was this film and our approach to making it that secured us our "independent production company" section at the 2005 Venice Short Film Festival.
